- Submission of Extended Abstracts/Papers

The extended abstracts to be submitted should be a minimum of three
pages in length with preliminary results, key figures and references.
An abstract should clearly state the purpose of the study,
the methodology employed, and should begin with a short
summary of six to eight lines. Authors are encouraged to
submit a full paper for the review process.
Authors are strongly encouraged to use the formatting
style described below and the templates provided for
submitting an abstract as this format is required for the
full paper.
Abstracts are to be submitted online under the
menu selection 'Submission'.
The uploaded files should be in PDF format.
- Review of Abstracts
- Abstracts submitted to the conference are refereed
by the members of the Scientific Committee. Only the
original manuscripts which are not previously published
are accepted for reviewing. Turnitin service is utilized to verify
the originality of the manuscripts submitted. Scope,
originality, completeness and clarity, and cited references
of the manuscript are considered in the review process.
Acceptance of the papers are based on the referees'
comments, which are made available to the corresponding
author once the review process is completed.
- AIAC Style

Manuscripts must be prepared in a single-column
format and must be single spaced on A4 or letter
size page using 11 pt. characters and a
Sans Serif font (Helvetica, Arial, Tahoma).
Right, left, top, and bottom margins should be set at 25mm.
There is no page limit.
Templates:
Style Descriptions
- Title
- The title of the paper should be centered at the top
of the page in bold capital letters of size
12. The name/affiliation/city-country
information should be listed for each author
in 3-line blocks placed horizontally. The titles
of the authors and email addresses should
be provided in a footnote. The paper number assigned
is placed flush-right above the title in bold capital letters.
- Abstract
- One paragraph abstract of not more than 100 words
summarizing the content of the paper should be
included in italic type at the beginning of the paper.
It should state the objectives, tools used and conclusions briefly.
- Headings
- Major Headings should be centered
in uppercase bold letters.
Subheadings should be placed flush left of the column
on a separate line in bold upper and lowercase letters.
Sub-subheadings should be underlined and
placed flush left of the column in upper and lowercase letters.
- Headers & Footers
- Running headers are formed by the paper number assigned
and the authors' last names. A running footer is also formed by
Ankara International Aerospace Conference
- References
- References should be cited in the text in the
author-year form between square brackets ([Surname, 2012]).
The cited references should be listed at the
end of the paper in alphabetical order according to the
surnames of the authors and editors.
- Presentations

Session rooms will be equipped with
- a laptop computer running on Windows operating system,
PowerPoint and Acroread installed
- a projector attached to the computer
- a microphone
- a laser pointer
The time allotment for the presentation of a paper
is 20 minutes including
the questions-and-answers period.
